For the final week of Love Horror Month, I had to dig deep to satisfy the sacred law of #SequelWeek. After briefly flirting with the extra-gory, sexually uncomfy chaos of the Hellraiser franchise… I pivoted. Because sometimes love means choosing whimsy over whips. So instead of cenobites, we’re chasing limericks in a franchise that goes from the farm to the hood to outer space in the absolutely unhinged Leprechaun 2. Warwick Davis returns as our slick-talking, gold-obsessed Leprechaun, now trolling the mean streets of ’90s Los Angeles in search of two things: a gold coin… and a bride. Yes. A wife. And apparently… children. 😳 Meanwhile, Vince Charming is out here trying to save the Fair Maiden with the unwavering confidence of a man who has absolutely no plan but vibes and a book! Sir thinks “true love” is a strategy. Bless him. Magic, mayhem, and spectacular Drunk Uncle decision-making fuel this fairy tale from hell. Is it romantic? Debatable. Is it chaotic? Absolutely.
