660. The Ten Commandments - #4 - Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it Holy - October 11, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 11. I will then key in on verse 30 - The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. Friends this one verse is the crux of the Christian faith! We should consistently be thinking about winning souls. On today's podcast I will continue our study of the Ten Commandments. Today we will be looking at the 4th Commandment. I will begin today's lesson by reviewing the 10 Commandments - found in the Book of Exodus, Chapter 2, verses 2-17. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider: 1. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it Holy. 2. In it you shall do no work. 3. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Scripture verses referenced in today's lesson: Deuteronomy 5:15; Exodus 31:12-18 Call to Action - Do you keep the Sabbath day? Do you take a day off from work? (any kind of work?) If not, consider doing so.
