67. Davia Moss (Breast Cancer and Pregnancy)

On today’s episode, I am speaking with Davia Moss. Davia was diagnosed with breast cancer while she was 39 weeks pregnant with her third child. We speak about her diagnosis, work-up and treatment while she was pregnant and then immediately postpartum. Davia is passionate about breastfeeding and was initially told that she would not be able to breastfeed her baby. She did not accept this for an answer and successfully nursed her baby through parts of chemotherapy. On this episode, we talk a lot about what her experience was like, what life looks like now and the importance of treating the whole person.
