#672 - ManMan Breaks Incarnate's Word

The Duke Blue Devils didn’t look great in a win against Incarnate Word, but a win’s a win. Donald and Jason jump on quickly after the game to recap it on Episode 672. Duke was led by a career night from Khaman Maluach, who was the star of the first half. Isaiah Evans was the pace car in the second half. But while ManMan had a great night and Evans had a great half, Duke struggled on offense. After the headlines, Donald and Jason get to the good and bad from this game. It was a game where Duke really struggled to put Incarnate Word away in the first half and let them hang before the defense took over in the second half to make it a bigger win. Still, they needed to play through yet another slow start and needed to have more intensity and mental sharpness throughout the game. After the break, we discuss Maalik Murphy’s decision to enter the transfer portal. He will not play for Duke in the bowl game against Ole Miss, and we discuss his season at Duke. We wish him the best as he moves on and we talk about the state of the portal in college football.
