There isn't a single place in our lives where we can't find some area where we are trying to prove others wrong or are desperately afraid of proving them right. Well, I'm tired of all this proving and offer an alternative option in this conversation - what if we abandoned the idea that we have anything to prove in the first place? Wild idea, I know. Instead, decide that we've already proven enough. Celebrate where you are in your process and forego all of the proving - because the real spoiler in all of it - no one is paying as close attention as you think you are. So the only one wrapped up in this warped relationship is YOU. I'm unlearning the belief that I have to expend all of this energy and effort asp art of proving something about myself.
