689. God Will Give you the Desires of Your Heart - November 21, 2024

Wel come to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verses 2, 19 & 29. Verse 2 speaks about people who rely on their own intellect, power, and strength - and not necessarily to God. The second part of the verse tells us that God weighs the hearts. God is looking for a heart change in each an every one of us. In verses 9 & 19 both verses discuss the "contentious" woman. Let me change the to "contentious" person - as this can pertain to either a man or woman. The bottom line is - contention involves strife - or lack of peace in the home. We are to strive for harmony and peace in our homes. By the end of this podcast there are three things I ask that you consider: 1. God will give you the desires of your heart. 2. Avoid strife to the best of your ability. 3. Be patient when waiting on the Lord. Scripture verse referenced on today's lesson: Psalm 37:4 Call to Action - Align the desires of your heart to the desires that God has for you in His heart.
