#69 Troy Wohosky, Fighting for More

from Happiness in Progress · host Danielle Craig

"You can do anything you want in life - anything. I mean whoever thought they could b build metal and watch a car drive by or a plane fly in the sky? The guy who thought it was possible. You can do anything you dream of." - Troy Wohosky Troy Wohosky is the man behind Spartan Boxing… where he helps steer troubled youth in the right direction. But this comes after finding his own way… and digging back from a difficult childhood. As a young boy, he got involved with gangs, ran into trouble with the law… and was only 15 years old when he had his first child.  Troy became one of the country's top boxers, ranked #3 in the nation. Troy has traveled all over the world competing.. and has an impressive boxing record. In this episode, we talk about when he made the shift from the gang life, including a manslaughter charge that was dropped… to focus on making a better life for himself and his family. Plus, how he built a boxing gym from nothing. And how he believes everyone has a gift they can share with the world.
