7/15/26: The Wisdom of a Childlike Heart

Wednesday Mass. 7.15.26. I preach on today's Gospel and the contrast between worldly wisdom and childlike faith. Using St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Bonaventure, and St. Francis as examples, I explore how intelligence and learning are meant to draw us closer to God, not make us arrogant. I reflect on what it means to approach God with a childlike heart, especially when life doesn't go the way we expect.
