In the twenty-seventh episode of season three of Roots: The Unseen Life Dwayne and Jennifer talk about the war between the desires of the flesh and the desires of the spirit. They talk about how we must fight against the desires of the flesh and when we overcome those desires by the spirit we begin to see the fruit of the spirit in our lives. *On this podcast we went on a bunny trail on the topic of worry and anxiety, sometimes it can be dangerous to do bunny trails. We were speaking to a very specific issue that results in worry and anxiety but we did not speak to the broader issue of pain, trauma, and other issues which are very real and cause very real worry and anxiety.
