S Martinem Tenglerem navazujeme na epizodu ze začátku roku 2023 a probereme, co je kolem vodíku nového. Důležitý pro dekarbonizaci je zejména tzv. zelený vodík, jehož cena se příliš nezměnila. V USA investoři aktuálně vyčkávají na novou legislativu, a probíhají debaty, jak přísná má být definice zeleného vodíku, což ovlivní další rozvoj jeho využívání. V EU se rozběhla velká aukce a podpora vodíkových projektů. Výroba elektrolyzérů se zdvojnásobila, ale celkový růst byl menší než se čekalo. Některé firmy už sice dokáží vyrobit efektivnější elektrolyzéry, ale zároveň některé elektrolyzéry mají technické problémy při slabé dodávce elektřiny, což komplikuje jejich využití, pokud je mají napájet primárně nízkoemisní zdroje elektřiny. Podle našeho hosta je stále potřeba si uvědomit, že našim cílem není využívat co nejvíce vodík, ale dekarbonizace. A pro některé sektory je vodík efektivní řešení, zatímco pro jiné nikoliv.
