705. Scripture Verses that can Guide Your Life (#4) - My Word Shall not Return to me Void - December 13, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. On today's podcast we will be going over Proverb 13. I will then key in on the first part of verse 1 - A wise son heeds his father's instruction. Friends, many of you may no longer have your earthly dad on this earth. He may have passed away, you may be estranged from him, or you may just not be very close to him. I invite you to recognize God as your trued Father. This verse tells us the importance of listening to His advice and counsel (paying attention to the word of God). On today's lesson, we will continue our study of scripture verses that can guide your life. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider: 1. All scripture is given by insperation of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. 2. My word shall not return to me void. 3. A wise son heeds his father's instruction.
