　　帝曰：天不足西北，左寒而右凉；地不满东南，右热而左温，其故何也？　　岐伯曰：阴阳之气，高下之理，太少之异也。东南方，阳也，阳者，其精降于下，故右热而左温。西北方，阴也，阴者，其精奉于上，故左寒而右凉。是以地有高下，气有温凉。高者气寒，下者气热，故适寒凉者胀之，温热者疮，下之则胀已，汗之则疮已，此腠理开闭之常，太少之异耳。
