71. Alain Santamaría | La SORPRESA de la ZEGAMA 2024

Alain Santamaría es un atleta riojano de 31 años que desde este año 2024 pertenece al equipo profesional de Salomon España. Un equipo lleno de grandes nombres como los de Jan Margarit o Malen Osa, reciente 2º clasificada de Zegama. Alain como muchos grandes atletas del Trail running pasó, previamente por el atletismo y el ciclismo profesional. Su evolución en el trail ha sido muy progresiva consiguiendo grandes resultados como lo que consiguió la semana pasada en Zegama. Por si no sabes lo que es Zegama, se trata de la carrera de maratón de montaña más importante que hay hoy en día en el mundo del Trail. Los mejores atletas de la montaña estaban en la prueba y nuestro invitado se quedó 8º de la clasificación general por detrás de grandes nombres como el de Killian Jornet o Manuel Merillas. Os va a sorprender su naturalidad y la gran pasión que tiene por este deporte, que la gente que hemos hecho carreras de montaña, sabemos que tiene algo diferente al resto.
