72 - Eugene Day

In this episode we speak to Eugene Day as he shares his experience at Ironman California 2022. Gene shares that completing Ironman California is something that was 3 years in the making. He talks me through the cancellations that extend all the way back to Ironman Santa Rosa.Additionally, his wife Melissa Vaught, joined the conversation and provided a unique perspective that we don’t always get. She talked me through her day onsite as spectator and sherpa. Gene and Melissa break done the entire experience for us.
