728. Habakkuk - Chapter 3 (#2) - The Mountains saw you and Trembled - January 15, 2025

from Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley · host Bill Kelley

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. On today's podcast we will be going over Proverb 15. I will then key in on verse 2 - The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. Friends, this verse talks about the effect that the words that come out of our mouth can have on people on the receiving end of those words. Prior to speaking, we need to consider the consequences of the words that we will speak. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the minor prophet Habakkuk. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider: 1. Before Him went pestilence And fever followed at His feet. 2. God has command over the sea and the rivers. 3. The mountains saw You and trembled. Scriptures referenced on today's lesson: Proverb 15: 2; Deuteronomy 28:21-22; Exodus 14:26-Exodus 15:5 Call to Action: Ask yourself this question - How mindful are you to think about the words that will come out of your mouth prior to your speaking those words?
