Enric Violan es podólogo deportivo en su clínica de podología que tiene su mismo nombre en Barcelona. Es podólogo de deportistas tan importantes como Pau Capell. Su padre, también podólogo fundó la clínica en el año 1961 por lo que os podéis imaginar la cultura familiar que tenía Enric en casa. Enric es corredor de montaña y especialista en zapatillas de correr. Para ello, lleva tiempo investigando sobre las mejores zapatillas que hay en el mercado y recomendando a sus paciente según la pisada específica del corredor. Digamos que primero ve la pisada y luego te recomienda una zapatilla u otra cuando normalmente nosotros lo hacemos al revés. Es una persona con muchísima experiencia y os va a encantar esta charla precisamente por eso, porque le preguntamos por zapatillas de correr de un punto de vista de podólogo, que es muy interesante. También hablamos si las plantillas son siempre necesarias, del barefoot donde se moja, de si la placa de carbono lesiona o no, del trabajo de gimnasio para corredores, de la promoción / supinación en corredores e incluso de calcetines deportivos donde son los grandes olvidados del corredor. Y todo ello en la magnífica casa que top4running nos invitó a pasar el fin de semana donde el mismo Enric fue uno de los conferenciantes que nos dio una charla súper interesante.
