We are proudly sponsored by S A Partners, a world-leading business transformation consultancy. Two Minute TipSo I'll give you a few things. First of all, I think that these four core regrets: foundation, boldness, moral and connection, I actually think that they, along with giving us a pathway to the good life, I think that they are the components of a strong organisational culture. That is cultures that cohere, cultures where people feel a sense of psychological safety, where people are able to do great work are cultures where there is a foundation, where people do have a chance to act boldly, where people are doing the right thing, and where they are connected to other people. And so regret also gives us the building blocks of, I think, a coherent, powerful corporate culture. So that's it at a broad level. At a very, very tactical level, one of my favourite tips comes from Tina Seelig at Stanford University, who suggests that all business leaders should put together what she calls a failure resume. And a failure resume is, you know, we have all these resumes, saying what incredible people we are and the incredible jobs we've had, and the amazing things we've accomplished. A failure resume talks about all of your failures, setbacks and screw-ups, but it doesn't just leave it there. You, you have a resume of all your failures, but then you say, what did this teach me? And then what am I going to do about it? And so I think that that, that leaders, showing their failure resume, particularly how they can extract lessons from those failures, pointing forward, is a powerful, powerful thing, and everybody in organisations should give that a try.LinksBrad is proud to support many Australian businesses.
