75. Anne Keane (Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer)

On today’s episode, I am speaking with Anne Keane. Anne was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer when she was 36 years old and had a 1 year old daughter at the time (who is now 6 and just started kindergarten!). We talk about how she made it through those initial dark and difficult times and what living with metastatic breast cancer for the past 5 years has been like. Anne recently ran the Boston Marathon as part of The Dana Farber Marathon Team and shares her experience– this race recap (and really, our whole conversation) will give you chills (and probably make you cry).
