I know there are exceptions to the personality stereotypes behind birth-order theories….but then there are the first-borns. Eldest daughters especially have a pretty universal experience as independent, often-parentified, responsible Type A overachiever types. But what happens when we find ourselves hyper-independencing ourselves into isolation and stuckness?
