As it says in the Bible,  “Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” Psalms 107:8-9 So why is thankfulness so powerful? And if I’m not very thankful, how do I move towards that?  Today we discuss all about thankfulness. We reflect on the historical origins of Thanksgiving. We touch on the decline in societal appreciation for spiritual values and the exploitation of Native Americans. And you’ll learn about the interconnectedness of determination and thankfulness.  "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving" Colossians 4:2 Highlights: (5:16) Native Americans taught early European settlers all possible survival skills like hunting, farming, etc. Thanksgiving started as a way to dedicate that to God.
