766. Ephesians - Chapter 3 (#4) Christ now dwells in our Hearts through Faith - March 10, 2025

from Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley · host Bill Kelley

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 10. I will then key in on verses 6 & 11 - Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked; The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. Friends, notice that the second half of each of these verses is the same. These verses tell us that violence will be part of our lives if we have evil inclinations. Blessings, on the other hand, will be part of our lives - if we choose to follow the commandments of God found in the Bible. On today's lesson I will review the three points I had brought up on last Thursday's podcast (Episode #764 - If you did not get a chance to listen to that podcast I invite you to do so). I will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians, beginning in the 14th verse of Chapter 3. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. Roman Christians were emboldened by Paul's courage.2. For this reason I bow my knee to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.3. Christ now dwells in our hearts through faith.Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:Proverb 10:6;11; Ephesians 3:13-17; Philippians 1:14; Ephesians 1:3; Philippians 4:19; Colossians 1:11; Romans 7:22; John 14:23; Colossians 1:23Call to Action - Are you mindful of the words that come out of your mouth? Do you think about what you will say prior to uttering words?
