#77 Headteacher of Dyslexia School Moonhall hopes for more dyslexia schools

from Dyslexia Explored · host Darius Namdaran

Driven by the growing frustration that she didn’t have enough skills to help dyslexic children, she trained for the Level 5 specific learning difficulty teacher training course at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Center, then became a headteacher of Moon Hall School. Sarah George had a nice conversation with Darius about her dyslexia journey, dyslexia schools particularly Moon Hall School, and the advantages of sending your child to a specialist dyslexia school rather than a public school with good learning support.   Links you might want to check: Montessori school: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montessori_education Indigo Dyslexia Centre: http://www.4dyslexics.com/ The two Moon Hall Specialist Dyslexia Schools, in Reigate and Dorking, Surrey, U.K: Reigate: https://www.moonhallschoolreigate.co.uk/ Dorking: https://www.moonhallschooldorking.co.uk/ An excellent training centre for those looking for Dyslexia Training: https://www.helenarkell.org.uk/ She's also a consultant for a new platform for online learning for dyslexic pupils: https://dyslexpertise.com/ Bulletmap Academy Page: https://bulletmapacademy.com BulletMap Academy Workshop: https://bulletmapacademy.com/workshop/ BulletMap Academy Blogs: https://bulletmapacademy.com/blogs/ Enroll in BulletMap Academy: https://bulletmapacademy.com/sales-page/#price Show notes: https://bulletmapacademy.com/77/
