Schizophrenia affects less than one percent of the United States population, yet we want to encourage prayer and give grace and mercy to the person who often suffers in silence.   A person can really live a successful life with this disorder with treatment, medication, and therapy. Practicing self-care is a good way to cope, attending support groups and aiming for a healthy lifestyle helps also.
