771. Ephesians - Chapter 4 (#2) - We are to have the Mind of Christ - March 17, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 17. I will then key in on verse 27 - He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. This verse talks of two things: 1. If you have knowledge then you are to think about the words that you will speak prior to opening your mouth; 2. If you have understanding then - when you hear of news for the first time that you do not overreact, but act in a calm or reserved manner. On today's podcast I will review the three points I had introduced on Thursday's podcast (Episode #769 - if you didn't get a chance to tune in to that podcast, I invite you to do so). I will begin today's lesson by rereading the first two verses of Ephesians, Chapter 4. I will then go over a passage of scripture which solidifies (or backs up) these two verses - found in the Book of Philippians, Chapter 2: verses 5-8. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. We are to have the mind of Christ.2. Christ was fully Bod, but He limited Himself in such a way that He could also be completely human. In Christ God became man.3.
