What a Saturday! It was so great, we had to break them up into separate podcasts, which we give to you together! On Episode 777, we discuss Duke Football winning the ACC title over Virginia, its first ACC football title since 1989. Scott Rich joins Donald and Jason for both episodes to make it a ton of fun. First, it’s the football, where Duke overcame all odds and every cynic to avenge a November loss to the Virginia Cavaliers, taking them out in overtime to claim Duke’s first ACC football title since 1989 and first outright title since 1962. It was a phenomenal effort and some great calls during the game to win the title, and we love that this team fought through all it did to emerge as the ACC champions. They may not be in the playoff, but they can’t take that feeling away! Next, you’ll switch to the other episode and get the basketball recap as Duke took out Michigan State at the hostile Breslin Center. It was a hard fought, physical game, but Duke was able to move to 10-0 on the season and hold perhaps the best resume and best player in all of college basketball. We talk about all the good from this game along with the things to improve, and of course we discuss the play of the game and our player of the week. It was a special day to be a Blue Devil!
