And I know that I am not the only one feeling this.In this week’s Yes Mujer Build It episode, I detail the importance of awareness and managing overwhelming stimuli during this election season and share a couple of self-care and stimulus overload tools that encourage you to trust your feelings, connect with your ancestors, and put your well-being first. The first step is to become aware of your emotional sensitivity. When building this awareness, it is also important to understand where this emotional sensitivity comes from and that it is actually a gift. Second, trust your inner knowing. As women of color we are deeply connected to our inner knowing, this is the connection we feel instinctively to our ancestors.Learn to harness this information and power. Lastly, give yourself the time to turn off the noise, take time off, and ground yourself in your own sanctuary. You can even create your own Sanctuary. In this episode, you’ll learn: How to navigate election season as a Latina. Why you are feeling overwhelmed during this time. How to understand your emotional sensitivity and why it is a gift.Tools for managing stimulus. What it means to connect with your inner knowing and connect with your ancestors.Connect with Wendy:Inspired Action WebsiteJoin Wendy's Email ListWendy’s WebsiteWendy’s InstagramWendy's LinkedInWendy's TikTokE-mail Wendy
