79. Psycho
from Ghost Ninja Raccoon Hosted by Cee The Creep
For #LastCenturyWeek we headed to the most famous motel in horror history and discovered that sometimes the real danger isn’t stealing $40,000… it’s stopping for sandwiches with a weird guy who talks to his mother through the walls. After impulsively stealing a small fortune from her employer, one Sexy Secretary hits the road hoping to start a new life with her broke boyfriend. Instead, a rainstorm, a creepy motel, and a taxidermy enthusiast named Norman Bates derail those plans in spectacular fashion. We get: • One of the most iconic scenes in horror history • A motel with fewer guests than a Spirit Halloween in February • More mommy issues than an entire season of reality TV • The realization that bird taxidermy should probably be considered a red flag So grab a sandwich, avoid the shower, and press play as we recap the movie that helped create the slasher genre and proved that sometimes the scariest monster is an awkward man with unresolved family trauma.
