79: Time For Sports Games

This episode the Beat of the Month crew tackle a genre that has been around for as long as games have been made - Sports Games! Even if you aren't buying the newest version of Madden every year, it's likely that you've played a sports game at some point. We take a deep look at the games that laid the foundation for the genre with the NES (yeah we know sports games existed even before then...) and then branch into the 16-bit generation and further. We also go into a bit of detail on sports games we played this month such as Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City, Dodgeball Academia, and more!
