#8 - How To Be Happy By Finding Meaningful Work
from To The Heights · host Sharon Murphy
Send us Fan MailToday we wrap up our 4 part series on Happiness. We talk about how finding work that is meaningful and has purpose in your life is essential to happiness. I stress the fact that this doesn't mean it must be your full time job as sometimes family situations and needs aren't able to support that. However, doing work that has meaning and purpose can be done part time or even as a volunteer. As long as it involves some aspect of using your gifts and talents to serve others, it will fulfill your purpose and therefore create more happiness. In fact the more it involves serving others, the more happiness you will create. I mention the fact that our dreams and desires from our earliest days can be guideposts that lead us to work that God is calling us to. I give you several tips on how to determine what your gifts and talents are and also some key questions to ask yourself when determining what meaningful work might look like in your own life.
