Hi everyone and welcome to episode 8 of the Journey Running Podcast! In this episode, myself and friend Dave Braunlich discuss popular ultramarathon lotteries in the US. Specifically, we discuss: Western States 100, Hardrock 100 and the Leadville 100. In this episode, we discuss lottery design for these races and variables that impact lottery design such as volunteerism, whether you are a race finisher or not and how gender plays a role in lottery design as well.This is an episode I would particularly love to hear other people's thoughts on.
