819 — Jesus Is Better Than Moses (Hebrews 3:1–6 Jesus Is Better — Part 5)

Friday, August 7th: Moses was one of the greatest and most faithful servants in Israel’s history, but Jesus is worthy of greater glory. Moses served within God’s household and testified about what was coming; Jesus is the Son who rules over the household and fulfills everything Moses anticipated. Hebrews therefore calls us to consider Jesus carefully, hold firmly to our hope, and place our confidence in the faithful Son rather than in any human servant, institution, or tradition.
