Dana Kaplan is an Early Childhood and Social Emotional Awareness Expert, Pioneering DEIAB in ACTION from the womb to 12th grade. (*Diversity Equity Inclusion Access and Belonging). Dana’s tenure in the classroom provided her the landscape to design, pilot, and launch highly sought after programs in both NYC and Atlanta, Georgia. With over 16 years of classroom teaching and leadership, Developing Empathetic Education with Dana (DEED)® was founded. Self-awareness, accountability, and radical personal responsibility are the core elements Dana authentically teaches when working with youth and adults. Each intentional practice empowers learners of all ages to crush glass ceilings by effectively naming their feelings and emotions, honoring their positively powerful voice, and owning their choices and actions. Dana propels learners and families with highly effective communication skills, creating space for hard conversations and rich connections between home, school, and for adult learners, the workspace.
