"The Room Where It Happens" is a song from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, which is based on the life of Alexander Hamilton. The song's writer and composer, Lin-Manuel Miranda, explained, "'The Room Where It Happens' [is one] of the best songs I've ever written." The song outlines a secret dinner between Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison who agree upon an unprecedented political compromise, which still impacts us today. Aaron Burr, the narrator of this story bemoans being on the outside looking in and begs to be in the room where all the big decisions are being made. So what does this have to do with EmpowerYou?
