Renowned for his expertise in the evaluation and retreatment of implants, Dr. Elian completed his DDS degree and postgraduate studies in prosthodontics and implant dentistry at NYUCD.     Dr. Elian was director of the Fellowship Program in Implant Dentistry and the director of Experimental Research at NYUCD. He consults on product development for industry manufacturers and is an inventor and expert in both cell culture and tissue engineering. An international instructor, Dr. Elian is a visiting professor at the University of Chietti, Italy, and Tong Ji University, China, as well as Honorary Professor at El Instituto de Investigaciones Craneo Dento Maxilo Facial de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud in Argentina. He was also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
