89. Alicia Renee (Stage I Ovarian Cancer Survivor)

On today’s episode, I am speaking with Alicia Renee. Alicia was diagnosed with stage I ovarian cancer in the summer of 2021 after she presented with what she initially thought was food poisoning. She talks about her diagnosis and the healing process that happened after. We speak about the importance of grieving so you can begin to heal after a diagnosis, the importance of holding space for yourself and protecting your boundaries, and advocating for yourself even when others may not be.
