(台)8 因為阮袜當做違背真理的代誌，只有擁護真理。 9 阮軟弱，恁堅強，阮就歡喜。阮所祈求的是恁會當成做完全。 10 因為按呢，趁我無佇恁遐的時寫此張批，才免我去的時用主互我的權柄嚴轄對待恁；此個權柄是欲建立，毋是欲拆毀。 (華)8 我們凡事不能敵擋真理，只能扶助真理。 9 即使我們軟弱，你們剛強，我們也歡喜；並且我們所求的，就是你們作完全人。 10 所以，我不在你們那裡的時候，把這話寫給你們，好叫我見你們的時候，不用照主所給我的權柄嚴厲地待你們。這權柄原是為造就人，並不是為敗壞人。
