#9 Don't Let Your Faith Become A Causality Of Your Trauma | Healing with WORTH

from Healing with WORTH · host Healing With WORTH

Women can experience a crisis of faith when dealing with betrayal trauma. While each crisis will be unique to the individual, when it does happen it seems like our whole world comes crashing down. Generally,  a faith crisis points to a kind of falling apart, a disintegration of one's former world that was previously held up by beliefs and propositions. Each of the hosts shares their heart-wrenching crisis of faith and how they got through it. While each of their stories is filled with pain and sorrow they realized that God is merciful and will buoy us up in times of challenge.  The hosts also share the many gifts that they have been given through the tender mercies of God. Many times these gifts came in such an unusual manner and with such precise timing that it really did confirm to us the reality of God’s existence that he has and always will buoy us up in times of trials. Life hurts us all in different ways, but it is how we respond — and who we become — that determines whether a trauma becomes a tragedy, and how the victim becomes the victor.
