Concurrently Shapiro has consulted with organizations to build inclusive work cultures; and with teams, to build the relationships and processes necessary to produce innovative and high-quality output. Shapiro researches women’s careers, organizational efforts in moving towards gender equity, and teamwork. Her book on teams, published by Harvard Business School Press, two books on interviewing and career strategies, and her case studies featuring women protagonists, all advance efforts towards equity and inclusion.
