9. School Holiday Edition - Budget Friendly Family Fun

Communication is key here again.  A good meaty conversations get to be had before the holidays arrive with both the kids and the parent/s to decide what they are going to look like.Who is working and when, is important to know before the chaos hits!One of my fav activities is getting everyone in the family to write down what it is they want to do for their holidays.  In our house (I think it's the teacher in me) we either grab a piece of paper, or use the whiteboard to jot down all of our ideas. That way we are clear on the expectations, but we can also manage the expectations, or play around with the options so everyone gets a chance to do something they really love.
