92: What I Learned From Our First Year of Kindergarten

from Meant to Bloom: because burnout shouldn't be your baseline · host Brittni Clarkson

This last school year was our first experience with formal education in our family and I can say we’ve done it all at this point. We tried on every shoe and though we loved all of them, they weren’t all a great fit. Here’s the recap of what I learned with our first kindergartener.  In this episode I’m talking about:  Why we chose to start with formal schooling last year.  Our honest experience with school and his individual needs.  What I learned about myself, compassion, and empathy for others. *********************************** Listen to these related episodes:  83: Keeping Your Kids Safe with Missy Gryder 77: Being a Mom is Hard with Kelsey McKenna 54: Raising Independent Kids with Natural Consequences *********************************** Related resources:  The Essential Happy Mom Starter Kit (free): https://brittniclarkson.ck.page/meanttobloom  Planners, Journals, etc: Brittniclarkson.com/planner Courses collection: http://blossomacademy.teachable.com *********************************** Get in touch: Website: www.BrittniClarkson.com   Email me [email protected]  Submit a question to be answered on the show: https://brittniclarkson.com/q-a-form/    Virtual tip jar: https://brittniclarkson.ck.page/products/appreciation-jar
