922. The State of This Podcast - November 21, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verse 23 - Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles. Friends, our words are so vitally important. The Bible tells us that our words can bring forth death or life (Proverb 18:21). If that is the case, we should be careful to ponder our words prior to opening our mouths. On today's podcast I will give an update on what the Lord has been speaking to me recently. Today's podcast is Episode #920 - meaning I have been doing this podcast (on a daily basis) for over 3 1/2 years. He has informed me that I am to begin the process on shutting this podcast down. I will, however, not do that until I have completed the projects that He has told me to do (for Him). I have been working on a separate podcast entitled Lessons From the Psalms. As most of you know, there are 150 psalms. As of today, I have completed 123 of them (meaning I still have 27 more to do). That means if I do one a week (which I have been doing) it will take me about half a year to complete that project. Next, I have read about 1,000 chapters of the King James Bible. (meaning there are a little less than 200 chapters left to read). That project should thus end either in April or in May. The number that the Lord gave to me (as far as my podcast is concerned is the number 1,000). That means I still have 80 more episodes of this podcast to air. So, praise God, you have the latest news of this podcast.
