93. Grief is a b*tch

from Lit AF Relationships

This week I share why grief is at the very bottom of every core wound and trauma we’ve experienced. Grief does not like to be touched. She loves to be by herself. But when you find her she’s got a lot of valuable things to say in order to heal. I get to the story of grief by way of perfectionism. It’s a personal share of how I’ve honed my perfectionistic tendencies throughout my life. I share how it showed up in ballet, my nonprofit career, body shaming, and ruminating on convos. At the very bottom of my perfectionism is the desire to be loved and with that is a lot of grief for every moment I didn’t receive it. So buckle up! It’s a funny one.Follow Lit AF on Instagram: @itsmesarahcohan.comVisit the Lit AF Website: https://www.sarahcohan.com/Thank you so much for listening.
