His early career roles were based in the marketing field, and this experience allowed him to understand the expectations of all of the industry's participants, from home buyers and sellers to land developers and builders. He developed several specialized areas of expertise: new home construction, energy efficiency, and universal design. Richard has been an award winner throughout his career.
