961. Romans Chapter 7 (#2) - Sin Came alive, and I died - February 18, 2026

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 18. I will then key in on verse 7 - A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to his soul. Friends, ordinarily, in proverbs when they talk about a fool -we can pretty much understand that we are talking about people who are not Christians - meaning they don't think about God, or about pleasing Him. This verse talks about the importance of our words, and how we should think carefully about what will come out of our mouths (also see Proverb 18:21). On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Romans - going over Chapter 7, verses 7-12. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. If it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin.2. But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness.3.
