It's time to finally welcome my former boss and now fencing buddy, Stephen Flemings, to the podcast! As a partner and head of services at Yellow Line Digital, Stephen taught me almost everything I know about creating and launching a sales campaign. Throughout this podcast, we discuss how he overcame adversity throughout many companies until he came to Yellow Line, the steps you should take when you're beginning to sell a product or service, and what he thought about me when the first time he met me. One Habit You Can Learn from Stephen When Stephen sells you, you don't even realize you're being sold. One of the first things I noticed about him is how slowly he takes sales calls. He'll chat about their family, where they're from, the company, and everything else...all while keeping meticulous notes of their answers to reference and bring up later. Being a high energy person myself, I personally built the habit of not rushing through sales calls (especially first contact) because of him. My personal rule: breathe before answering them.
