from Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley · host Bill Kelley

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 9. I will then key in on verse 6 - Leave your simple waysw, and live, and walk in the way of insight. Friends, this is an invitation for us to draw closer to God. We are to be different. In order to do that, we need to become more like Jesus. The only way to accomplish that is to read the Bible on a regular basis (I suggest you begin with the Book of Proverbs, the Book of Psalms and by reading the four gospels). On today's podcast we will be continuing our study of the book of Romans. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. Paul had a desire to meet the Jews in Rome on his way to Spain.2. He was hoping that they would help him financially.3. Paul ended up going to Rome - but as a prisoner.Scriptures pertaining to today's lesson:Proverb 9:6; Romans 15:22-33; Acts 19:21; 1 Corinthians 16:1-4; Philippians 2:1-2Call to Action - Friends, are you eager to help the poor and the widows?
