997. Scripture Verses on Joy - The testing of your faith produces perseverance - April 22, 2026

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 22. I will then key in on verse 4 - The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life. Friends, this is such a wonderful promise of God. First of all it tells us the importance of having humility as a way of life. We need to put away any pride in our life, and have the opposite disposition (that of humility). If we combine that with the fear of the Lord (a reverence of God) they we will have riches and honor and a long life. On today's podcast I will be going over eight verses on joy. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. The testing of your faith produces perseverence (patience, steadfast love).2. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.3.
