A Broken Bird

What breaks a man? Is it the missing of love? The lack of being nurtured? The lack of understanding? I say is God abandoned … I say say is the soul gone wrong I say is a friend you thought you had I say is a prayer now you’ve no have a tongue What happens of a broken bird? His tiny microscopic heart ticking As his mother played tricked … He now can’t eat feeling weak His broken wings … Not allowing him to fly Shall I say get wax wings No! You must learn to navigate without one Trust your mind little one Learn to seek God From the inside You still got a tongue … Think about about Let none take it from you It’s He you’ll need … Look up to Him Allows others not Come away with me tiny bird Perhaps as you sit near me I can feel your pains Then you can explain I’ll listen … Maybe not as you may think I do not have money to give, which is a gift But love that is free … Come from where you are Seek peace and love Follow those breeze Yea, follow those breeze Follow those free breeze Yea, follow those free breezes Coming your way … It can be yours, only friend You may want to ask Why they have left you Without wings? I say is jealousy, the ugliest of all the emotions You unique … Unlike all others Do not let them play you bad Or tricks on you Never let it happen Or continue to be Get out of your dreary state Do not let misery Become your new name Be brave little one … Be prepared … And get out of there Aim high like a kite Set your mind free Excercise everyday Until the day you die Die trying … Better than being stagnant Instead of dying without trying Be strong little one … Have microscopic Bits of faith … Then grow it to gigantic one Run, run and run fast little one Get out of there … Run faster til you reach A birdie that once was you Sit next to it, yea Sit next to me And God … And seek His advice Yea, seek His advice He’ll tell you He was once you He no longer is He can show you His scars Believe he once was you Just go to the beach Look at those prints Now ask your God Are these your prints Left from your no wings? As you suffered … He gave you two to never trust again He’ll answer you As fast as He can Remember this test Yea, remember this was a test You’ve pass These new test Now you’ve wings As forever yours to keep … Amen Minerva A.
