A Conversation with Alice Bloom

Alice Bloom is an LA-based duo comprised of Flannery Maney and Pietro Milanesi. Alice Bloom’s first single,Satellite is released July 10th; their first EP will come out early fall. Flannery is a screenwriter and actress, currently working on several television shows. Pietro is a film and television composer, recently working on a documentary that premiered at Sundance. He is currently scoring a sketch comedy TV show. While stuck in quarantine, they decided to enter a songwriting competition and they started producing more and more music. That’s how Alice Bloom was born. Alice Bloom produces, writes, and mixes all of their music independently from home. The name, Alice Bloom was inspired by a character Flannery played on a podcast for which she had to record an original song.
