A Conversation with Brad Buckley

Lynn welcomes Dr. Brad Buckley (R-Salado) who represents District 54 in the Texas Legislature.  Dr. Buckley is a key supporter of “Texas Education Freedom Accounts” and is looking to the next legislative session to bolster literacy programs in Texas schools.  Rep. Buckley says the State of Texas can turn districts around when they fail, and points to examples.  We talk about failing districts like Houston, Austin, Waco, and Fort Worth and about the language barrier in the classroom and how to fix it, as well as LGBTQ sex manuals in school libraries.  We also visit about the 25th anniversary of 9/11, data centers, the Ten Commandments in schools, wokeness, the 765-kV transmission lines, and the danger of electing far-left politicians such as James Talarico.
